This month, the Canberra Raiders proudly continued our support of Ronald McDonald House Canberra (RMHC), with NRL players’ partners and Commercial Department staff volunteering their time as part of the Meals from the Heart program.

The team helped prepare and serve meals to families staying at the House, offering a welcome break and a small moment of comfort during a challenging time.

Raiders Membership and Ticketing Lead, Sharna Mitchell notes “It was a privilege to give back to families going through so much. Something as simple as providing a warm meal can offer real comfort and make a meaningful difference.”

Meals from the Heart is a unique volunteer opportunity that gives community and corporate groups the chance to make a real difference. It’s a powerful team-building experience that fosters compassion, promotes social responsibility, and boosts morale. We encourage local businesses and groups to get involved and support this incredible program.

Our support for Ronald McDonald House Canberra continues into game day, with RMHC proudly named as our Community Charity Partner for this week’s 50-50 Charity Raffle. That means proceeds from raffle tickets sold at the game—and online—will help provide essential support for families staying at RMHC while their child receives medical care.

Every ticket gives you a chance to win, and more importantly, it helps RMHC continue their vital work in our community.
