NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 25 Preview

The Raiders NSW Cup finals push continues as they prepare for another must-win this Saturday against the Rabbitohs at Redfern.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders will look to make it six wins in a row when they take on the Rabbitohs at Redfern Oval this Saturday afternoon.

Canberra turned the tables on a strong Bulldogs outfit last weekend at home and will continue to build momentum as they eye off the fifth spot on the ladder.

With results needing to go the Green Machine's way, a win on Saturday will put them in good stead with a potential playoff with Penrith in the final round for the last spot.

Canberra centres Manaia Waitere and Kain Anderson continue to show great form as attacking weapons on the edge.

Souths upset the Raiders 24-14 in their only meeting this year, walking away winners in round 14 at GIO Stadium earlier this season.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Canberra Raiders JF Cup side snapped a three-game losing streak last weekend with a tight 24-22 over the Bulldogs.

That win secured a finals berth for the Raiders as they will look to build some much-needed momentum into the finals series.

However, the top five is only split by four points meaning Canberra will look to bank two more wins before seasons end to finish more favourable on the ladder.

Raiders centre Mark Tuialii was outstanding in last weekend's performance, setting up a pair of tries and showcasing his strong defence.

Canberra defeated the Rabbitohs 38-22 in their last meeting, looking to make it 2/2 this season.
