Game Day Guide: NRL Raiders v Knights & NRLW Raiders v Broncos
This week sees Indigenous Round come to Canberra as the Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders will host Newcastle Knights in Round 23 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, while the NRLW Canberra Raiders will host the Brisbane Broncos in Round 6 of the Telstra Women's Premiership.

Welcome to Country Mark Bell (Raider #100)
Completing the Welcome to Country is Mark Bell, along with his cousin Anthony who will assist in the Smoking ceremony. The Bell family is a prominent Ngunnawal Aboriginal family with deep historical roots in Yass, New South Wales, and the surrounding region.
Many family members grew up on the Hollywood Aboriginal Mission near Yass, which opened in 1934 and closed in the mid 1950’s.
After the mission closed, the Bell family was one of only a few Aboriginal families permitted to remain in the Yass area, maintaining strong ties to their traditional lands.
The Didgeridoo will be played by Joel Bulger. Joel is a descendant of the Bulger family who is a prominent, highly respected Wiradjuri and local community family with deep historical ties to the Tumut, Brungle, and Gundagai regions in New South Wales.
Members of the Bulger family have long been recognised for their strong advocacy, community service, education, health, and sporting achievements across the Riverina and Snowy Valleys.
Mark Bell played 50 games for the Canberra Raiders from 1988–91.

50-50 Game Day Charity
St Vincent de Paul Society – Vinnies is committed to serving people in need within the community, offering over 200 services to assist.
Vinnies will be hosting a donation station, where fans are able to donate pre-loved Raiders Merch. Read more.
Purchase raffle tickets through the volunteers on Sunday or at 50-50 Charity Raffle. The lucky winner will be drawn in the second half of the NRL Round 23 game, Canberra Raiders v Newcastle Knights.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased via Ticketek.
Tickets are available at the gate however it is highly recommended to purchase online prior to the game, to avoid queues.
Any ticket holder that cannot find their purchased tickets can visit the box office on game day to have their ticket re-issued. Proof of identification will be required.
Parking
$10 per vehicle. Early-bird parking is applicable at $5 per vehicle until 45 minutes prior to NRL kick-off. Please be respectful of all laws regarding parking around the stadium.
Please make sure to allocate enough time for your journey and to locate parking. Please note that parking areas can sometimes reach capacity, and you may be redirected to a different location.

The NRLW match is live on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Overseas fans can watch via Watch NRL.
