Eight Canberra Raiders players will take the field for Mounties in their clash with the Manly Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval this Saturday at 2:30pm.

The side will be led around the field by the combination of Mitch Cornish at halfback and Matt McIlwrick at hooker and the duo will have multiple attacking options to utilise in both the backline and the forward pack.

In the backline, Cornish will have the likes of Jeremy Hawkins, Sami Sauiluma and Bill Tupou to find with either an astute pass or cross-field kick.

Whilst in the forwards, Cornish and McIlwrick will be able to utilise the strength of Kyle O’Donnell and Shane Shackleton in the front row and the power and skill of Jake Foster and Lagi Setu in the second row.

Clay Priest and Reece Goldsmith, who both spent the pre-season with the Raiders, are also selected in the side with Priest starting the match at lock and Goldsmith picked on the interchange bench.
