Raiders Game days are set to be more exciting and more interactive than ever at GIO Stadium this year and it all kicks off with the Raiders v Titans this Sunday night.
Apart from the on-field action between the Raiders and the Titans, the Raiders will be introducing a number of new and exciting facets to the game day experience, including the Huawei Legends Lounge, a new and improved Kid-zone and the debut performance of the clubs new cheer squad ‘The Emeralds’ who are proudly supported by McDonald's
The new and improved kid-zone will be set up at the Southern End of the ground, with the Raiders new Viking Ship obstacle course set up for kids attending, a photo booth to get yourself a picture with a Raiders player and a skills station including pass the ball and coaching from NRL Development and Touch Football Australia staff.
The Huawei Legends Lounge will give fans the chance to sit in the best seat in the house, with couches set up in Bay 73 at the Stadium and free food and soft drinks provided, as well a visit from a legend during the match.
To go into the running to sit in the Huawei Legends lounge, all you need to do is pick up a Huawei fan speaker at the ground and make sure you have it ready to wave during the NRL preview.
The Emeralds will make their debut performance at halftime of the NRL match this weekend, so make sure you are in your seat to see their new and exciting performance.
A new McDonalds kicking tee promotion is also happening this year, with the Raiders goal kicker during the NRL match tossing the tee into the crowd after every try conversion. Each tee contains a special voucher, which can be redeemed at participating McDonald’s restaurants in the ACT region and Queanbeyan.
The Members Wave for a Waves promotion will be happening throughout the evening, with five Waves Car Wash vouchers given away over the course of the night. Keep an eye out for one the Emeralds in the crowd and you could win a free car wash thanks to Waves.
Raiders Members and Fans are encouraged to dress in their best Green Raiders gear this weekend, as the NRL will be filming members and fans at the ground to help the club with match day promotions in the future.
Gates open at GIO Stadium at 4.00pm this Sunday, with the Raiders NYC team taking on the Gold Coast at 4.15pm then the NRL match between the Raiders and Titans at 6.30pm.
