The Canberra Raiders are reminding their members and supporters that there is another huge game day planned at GIO Stadium this Sunday when the Raiders take on the Cowboys.
Match day sponsor Canberra Milk will make a special announcement at halftime of the main game, with the naming of the 2014 Canberra Milk Kid, while they’ve also organised the team from Questacon to come along to the game to make Raiders Lime ice-cream in the western forecourt.
It’s also the last chance to win the first major prize for the Huawei Raiders Best Seats competition with a trip to State of Origin two in Sydney, which includes tickets, flights and accommodation!

Major Sponsor Huawei is running a best ‘selfie’ competition on Sunday to celebrate the launch of the new Huawei Ascend G6 smartphone. All you need to do is visit the Huawei Marquee in the western forecourt, take a ‘selfie’ with the new Ascend G6 and you could win a Raiders signed jersey, signed ball and Huawei gift pack!
There is also a chance to win a new Ascend G6 smartphone on Sunday, by simply making sure you have your Huawei fan speaker ready during the game preview before kick-off.
The Raiders will be wearing a special one-off jersey to celebrate the launch of the Ascend G6, with the jerseys available to bid on through www.allbids.com.au. The proceeds from the auction will go to cancer research through Huawei’s partner charity Tour de Cure.
After the match on Sunday the players will make their way to the Mawson Club for a post-match signing session, with members and supporters invited to attend to meet the team.
Players will arrive at the Mawson club at around 6.30pm, so it’s an ideal opportunity to get there early after the game and grab a meal from the Citrus Café.
