The Canberra Raiders will use their last two home game against the Tigers (Saturday August 30) and Eels (Saturday September 6) to highlight their fantastic members, with member appreciation matches at GIO Stadium.
Members Appreciation Activities Round 26 v Eels
As part of a big two days of activity planned at GIO Stadium, 17 lucky members will have the opportunity to get a jersey ‘straight from a players back’ post-game in round 26, as a token of thanks for the support all season.
Not only will they receive the jersey, they will also be represented on field, with each member who is drawn out having their name and member number embroidered on one of the 17 jerseys worn in the Eels match.
The Raiders have had 450 members attend every home game so far this season and to thank them for their support, 17 lucky members will be selected at random from this group of the clubs most loyal supporters to receive one of the playing jerseys from the player who wears it in the game, after the final home game of the season in round 26 against the Eels.
The random draw will take place this week, with the member’s name and member number to appear on the centre chest section of the Raiders jersey for the match against the Eels!

Members Guard of Honour
After the initial draw for the 17 members there will be a second draw, with 40 more members who have been to every home game in 2014 drawn out to form a special member’s guard of honour for the players as they take the field for the match next weekend against the Tigers.
Members Relay
There will also be a special event at halftime of the NRL match against the Tigers, with the first ever members relay to take place giving members the chance to represent their own section of the Stadium.
The five teams will represent the five sections of GIO Stadium (West Grandstand, West Inner Bowl, East Grandstand, East Inner Bowl and General Admission), with each member of the winning team receiving an awesome prize of an Endless Summer Esky thanks to Match Day Sponsor Local Liquor (valued at $400 each).
Members Only Signing Session
Post-match after the Tigers match all members are invited to attend the member’s only function in the Meninga Lounge, where the Raiders NRL squad will hold a signing session and meet and greet with their members to thank them for their support in 2014.
