This weekend GIO Stadium Canberra is set to play host to the Canberra Region's Junior Rugby League Grand Finals.
"Playing at GIO Stadium will be a massive thrill for the boys and girls," Junior Rugby League Administrator Deb Ford said.
"They watch their idols play at the venue on a regular basis so to play on the same surface as the Raiders is something that they will remember for the rest of their lives."
To this day, Goulburn junior Mitch Cornish remembers playing at GIO Stadium in several junior league Grand Finals.
"One of my fondest memories from growing up playing rugby league was being fortunate enough to play at GIO Stadium," Cornish said.
"I remember the excitement I had to play on the same surface as what my heroes played on.
"I hope everyone enjoys the experience as much as I did and good luck to every team competing over the weekend."
