What are the best things about being a member? Supporting the club I love and being involved with membership benefits/extras.
Why did you choose your membership package? I chose the Platinum package for the ‘money can’t buy’ benefits which includes access to loyalty benefits, giveaways, promotions and a Raiders jersey.
Why should people who come to the game become members? Membership is about belonging and supporting the club you love. There are all types of memberships to suit all financial situations.
Who are your top five Raiders players of all time? Mal Meninga, Clinton Schifcofske, Laurie Daley, Ricky Stuart and Brett Mullins.
What are you looking forward to in 2015? I am really excited for 2015 – I have faith in Ricky Stuart and the boys. Yes 2014 wasn’t a great year, but with our new recruits and young kids I truly believe we will be a threat and a top 8 team.
Which home game do you look forward to each year? I look forward to the Raiders v Dragons game as we always seem to sneak through and get the win.
Who are the three Raiders players we should watch this year and why?
Mitch Cornish – He has been guided into first grade strategically by Ricky and with a full pre-season with confidence from last year he will be a player to look out for.
Blake Austin – Blake is electric and it is exciting he will be wearing the lime green next year. His running game and size will be valuable in the half’s.
Jarrod Croker – After a fantastic year for Toots and winning the Meninga medal, I suspect he will go up another gear and finally get a rep jersey. And with the possibility of captaincy he is definitely a player to watch next year.
Tell us about your favourite home game of all time…
Hard choice, but a recent one was Raiders v Melbourne when the Italian Stallion (Paul Vaughan) scored in the dying minutes to win the game for us!
What makes you a unique Raiders member? I have a whole bookcase dedicated to the Raiders, with hats, scarfs, items from membership packs, and my favourite item is my first ever Raiders jersey framed with Meninga’s name and number on the back. (see attached) I am also in the process of planning a Raiders tattoo.
