The Canberra Raiders will make a concerted effort to recognise all current Club members at their first home game of the 2015 season against the New Zealand Warriors. The Round 2 fixture will see numerous ‘Member Recognition’ promotions unveiled, where those that have pledged their support for the year ahead being highlighted throughout the day by the following:
A members banner has been created to highlight all members who have committed themselves for the 2015 season. As per communications, members who joined the Raiders family prior to Wednesday 25 February will have their name printed on the Raiders members banner at GIO Stadium.
20 long-standing members of the Canberra Raiders will be rewarded for their loyalty by having the oppourtunity to line the tunnel when the NRL playing squad runs onto the field of play. This once in a lifetime oppourtunity is only available to selected members. Club Members who have pledged their support for more than 20 continuous years will be randomly selected for this privilege
With our Bleed Green competition kicking-off in February, we have had an overwhelming response from members as to how/why they "Bleed Green". 5 members will be chosen, from our member entries, to spin our prize wheel at half-time on-field at the first home game to each win 1 of 16 awesome prizes on the wheel! The first 3,000 Raiders members to present to the Membership Marquee outside the West Gate at GIO Stadium on game day will receive a WeAreRaiders lanyard as a complimentary gift from the Club. A reminder that at our first home match gates open at 4.00pm so be sure to arrive early to secure this free goodie.
3 lucky members will have a game day to remember with a coin toss, Junior Mascot and 18th Raider experience up for grabs. Only those who attend the Members Only Day on Saturday 14 March and bring along their printed tickets will be in the draw to win 1 out of the 3 exclusive experiences in Round 2. Members have been sent registration details via email.
Members who have joined the Canberra Raiders family by Thursday 12 March 5pm will automatically be put in the draw to win a family weekend getaway to Perisher thanks to Coca-Cola and Perisher Blue. A benefit of being a Raiders member is 10% discount on purchases made at Jerseys Megastore, game day merchandise stalls and RaidersShop.com.au, but for one hour only from 5.30pm - 6.30pm, prior to NRL kick-off v New Zealand Warriors, all members will receive a 15% member discount by presenting their Raiders members card on game day or entering the members code online (provided by email)
Another member initiative that the Raiders will be kicking off in Round 2 is the Huawei Half Time High Ball Member Challenge. 3 members for the first 9 home games will be selected at random to participate in a high ball challenge. Winners from each round will receive a Huawei device and advance to the Finals where a major prize will be up for the taking.
Following on from the success of this promotion introduced last year, full season (12 game) Club Members are reminded that if you attend 100% of Raiders home games in 2015 you will go into the draw to win 1 of the 18 player jerseys straight off a players back after Round 25. These jerseys will be presented on-field after the game, as part of our ‘Member Appreciation’ match day. Make sure you scan your members card at a turnstile each game to be in with a chance to win one of these ‘exclusive’ jersey items.
