The Raiders have sustained some injuries to their NRL squad following round two of the season, with two players set to miss extend game time. 

Raiders NRL Injury List - Round 3

David Shillington and Joel Edwards will miss extended periods with injury, with both players set to miss the next 6-8 weeks. 

Shillington will see a specialist today to see if surgery is required on a broken thumb, which he sustained playing for the Mounties in Wyong in round 2. 

Joel Edwards has a toe injury which will see him in a protective boot for between 2-4 weeks, before he can return to training with the NRL squad. 

Jeff Lynch is also waiting scans on a hand injury and will be reassessed once the results are in. 

Jordan Rapana will also be assessed this week after missing round two with a hamstring injury. 

Canberra Raiders Injury List

NAME: David Shillington

INJURY: Thumb

DUE BACK: Round 9-11

NOTE: Shillington has a broken thumb and is meeting with the surgeon this week to see what is required. 

 

NAME: Joel Edwards

INJURY: Toe

DUE BACK: Round 9-11

NOTE: Edwards is in a protective boot after sustaining a toe injury. He will be assessed in 2-4 weeks time

 

NAME: Jeff Lynch

INJURY: Hand

DUE BACK: Indefinite

NOTE: Lynch is having a scan on a possible hand injury. Medical staff will no more once the scans come back

 

NAME: Jordan Rapana

INJURY: Hamstring 

DUE BACK: Round 3-4

NOTE: Will resume training this week in a bid to be avaiable for round three
