And so it begins.

I've spoken about it for a couple of weeks and now here we are.

The charge home to the finals is on.

If we want to see our boys run around in the semi-finals, it all needs to start coming together against the Knights this Friday.

And there's absolutely no reason it shouldn't happen.

Our boys are nice and rested and the Knights aren't exactly brimming with confidence.

In the corresponding match earlier this year, the Raiders put the cleaners straight through the Knights and they should be keen to repeat the effort.

What's more, it's a home game.

While the home record could be better this season, it's still a distinct advantage.

The Raiders should be pumped to show the home fans they mean business.

If a shot at the finals and the home crowd isn't enough, this weekend has a tinge of selection trial about it.

Joseph Leilua is forced to sit this one out due to conditions on his release from the Knights and his competition will be hoping to keep him out of the starting line up.

Expect Edrick Lee and Jordan Rapana to be intent on playing out of their skins.

Despite all this, don't think a Raiders win will come easy.

When the season turns for home, teams towards the bottom of the ladder like nothing more than crushing the dreams of those above them.

Buoyed by the return of Jarrod Mullen, the Knights will be out to do exactly that.

This is where us fans come in.

Get down to GIO Stadium for what is a rare Friday night game.

It's time to begin our charge and as a result, get the Knights looking ahead to nothing but 2016.
