The Canberra Raiders have officially released Josh McCrone from the final year of his contract to take up a new two year deal with the St George Illawarra Dragons.
McCrone was on contract with the Raiders until the end of the 2016 season, but the club has granted him an early release so he can continue his career with the Dragons.
After making his NRL debut in 2009 McCrone played 133 matches for the Raiders, representing Country Origin on three occasions.
The Raiders would like to take the opportunity to thank Josh for his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.
