The Canberra Raiders are the first NRL club to start their 2016 pre-season, returning to Raiders HQ today for an induction and testing to kick-off the 2016 campaign.

Over the next two days the Raiders squad will be put through their paces with a series of on field and in gym testing, to determine when each individual will resume the pre-season campaign.

Players who meet their specific targets will be given some more time away from training, as a reward for making sure they kept up with their off-season programs.

Raiders Captain Jarrod Croker and halfback Sam Williams spoke to the media today. Click the play button above to watch parts of their interviews.
