Harold Matthews are currently in eighth place on the ladder, facing a North Sydney Bears outfit looking to secure their first win of the season.

"We just need to keep working hard on trading sets with teams. We worked really hard over pre-season on our fitness and resilience under pressure, and we did that knowing this time of the season is when that hard work will come into play," Coach Adam Kyle said.

"As a group our goal was more about making sure each performance was to the best of our ability and structure, the results would look after themselves. Nothing for us will change in the next few weeks with a finals spot on the line."

SG Ball dropped out of the top eight for the first time last weekend, and will be desperate to secure a win this weekend to keep their finals aspirations on track.

"It’s not rocket science in our case to make the finals. We need to start winning again and keep on winning," Coach Dean Souter said.

"Some consistent good performances will go a long way to seeing this happen. I’m confident the team can turn their fortunes around".
