The Canberra Raiders have confirmed the signing of Junior Paulo for the remainder of the 2016 season after his contract was registered with the NRL today.

Paulo had previously signed for the Raiders for 2017-2018, but an early release from the Parramatta Eels has allowed him to join the Raiders for the remainder of this season.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said Paulo would be a welcome addition to the Raiders squad.

“We’re thrilled to have Junior join us for the remainder of the 2016 season after previously committing for the next two seasons,” Furner said.

The Raiders will finalise their final team one hour before kick-off tonight.
