Description –

Plenty has changed since the Raiders and Manly last met. The Raiders are now the form team of the NRL, while Manly are out of finals contention and are attempting to salvage pride at the end of a tough season.

It was back in Round 13 when the two sides met, under lights at GIO Stadium in the Raiders only Friday night game of the season.

After jumping out to a 30-6 lead, Manly mounted a late fightback to bring the margin back to 12 points with ten minutes remaining. It wasn't to be however for the visitors, with the Raiders defence holding strong at the death.

The match marked a stunning return to form for Jack Wighton, notching up one try, two try assists and a pair of stunning try-saving tackles. The game was also Junior Paulo's debut for the green machine, immediately endearing himself to the Raiders faithful with a monster hit-up that sent Jamie Buhrer flying.
