The Raiders have fallen 21-0 to the Roosters in their final Hunua Pool match at Eden park in the 2017 Auckland Nines.
The Roosters scored the opening two tries of the first half therough their fleet footed fullback Latrell Mitchell to take an 11-0 lead into halftime.
Tries in the second half to Daniel Tupou and Ryan Matterson gave the Roosters the win. For the Raiders it was another chance to see some lesser know players, with youngsters Paul Roache, Eddie Aiono and Brent naden all having strong performances for Canberra.
