Raiders fullback Jack Wighton believes their North Queensland opponents won't be daunted by the prospect of cold conditions at GIO Stadium on Saturdy night.
Speaking at GIO Stadium this monring, Wighton participated in a special indigenous smoking ceremony with teammate Aidan Sezer as part of the lead up to Naidoc week 2017.
"The Cowboys won't be fazed by the cold conditions, they'll be up for a tough clash and we'll have to be ready for it," Wighton said.
Wighton spoke of his delught at seeing Dave Taylor return to the side after a couple of injury setbacks for the former Maroons and Kangaroos representative.
"He (Taylor) brings a lot of size to our side and I can't wait to see him out there for us. He's had to wait a while for another chance and he's been training really hard so I think he's going to have a massive impact for our team."
"He's a good bloke and he's fitted in really well to the club and we can't wait to see him run out there."
