Canberra Raiders hooker Josh Hodgson has said that the win against the Dragons was "a big relief" but the team can't rest on their laurels as they chase the top eight.
"It's certainly a different feeling around the place," Hodgson said. "It was nice to get the win. We know we were far from our best, we were very scatchy in places but we said it didn't matter how the win came - we'll take it ugly or not."
Speaking to the media on Monday, the English international said while the result against the Dragons was important, it doesn't guarantee a win this weekend.
"We got a win and we know that it isn't just going to happen now and all of a sudden we're going to be winning games," Hodgson said. "We've got to keep working hard and start practicing all the little things and really work on them.
"[The win] certainly gives everyone a buzz around the place and everyone has a spring in their step when you've got a win under your belt"
