Raiders Lock Clay Priest has praised his teammates after the Raiders performance in the 32-18 win over the Rabbitohs on Saturday night.

"We have improved a lot in our completion rate and we were right in it until the end against the Storm and against the Rabbitohs it allowed us to play good footy and get the result."

Priest was full of praise for teammate Joe Tapine after the young forward put in a man of the match performance for the green machine on Saturday night and joked that Josh Papalii might not get his spot in the team back.

"Joe was outstanding and Paps (Papalii) might not get his spot back!"

"There was a lot of talk from Tapine and I thought he was one of the best on the field."

Priest is determined to gain as many minutes possible in the NRL and insists that he will keep working hard to ensure he keeps his place in the team.

"I'd love to stay in the NRL squad, ill keep working hard during training because it's where I want to be."
