Mal Meninga was at Raiders HQ today to help launch the deadlyroos partnership in collaboration with deadly choices and the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Meninga was asked on the possible selection of Raiders young gun Nick Cotric as the former Raiders captain prepares to announce the Prime Minister's XIII team on Monday ahead of their upcoming match in PNG.

"Nick has had a fabulous year, you'd have to be a blind freddy to not realise how much of a talented player he is," Meninga said.

"We have to pick what players we think are going to play for the Kangaroos at the upcoming world cup and if there are any spots available after that then we will look to an eye on the future and Nick is certainly apart of that."
