The Canberra Region Rugby League season comes to a close this weekend as 34 teams converge onto Seiffert Oval this Saturday and Sunday for the junior grand finals.
With 13 teams represented ranging from Goulburn to South Tuggeranong, over 550 boys and girls will be in action starting at 9am Saturday morning.
The final match of the weekend will take place at 6pm Sunday evening.
Canberra Region Rugby League General Manager, Mark Vergano, said the grand finals were a good opportunity for kids to be rewarded for their efforts throughout the season.
“It’s been a very successful season across the CRRL and it will be fantastic to see young players make their mark this weekend,” Vergano said. “With 17 finals matches taking place this weekend, it’ll be a perfect way to end the season. Good luck to all the sides.”
