The Canberra Raiders can confirm that assistant coach Dean Pay has left the club to take up the Head Coach position at the Bulldogs.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said “On behalf of all the Club’s Members, Staff and Players I would like to thank Dean for his contribution to our Club.”

“Dean has been a fantastic servant and has completed a great coaching apprenticeship under Ricky Stuart.”

Canberra Raiders Head Coach Ricky Stuart also thanked Dean for his service to the Raiders and believes that he thoroughly deserves his chance as Head Coach.

“I've been very fortunate with the quality of my assistant coaches and Dean's ready to be coaching first grade."

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for all his hard work and loyalty.”

Dean joined the Raiders at the beginning of 2014 as assistant Coach to Ricky Stuart.

Canberra are pleased to see another member of the Raiders family appointed as Head Coach of an NRL Club.
