Raiders second-rower Joseph Tapine was pleased with his World Cup form for New Zealand and is hoping to continue that with the green machine in 2018.

"I was happy with how I played despite how the team went and I'm looking to transition that to the Raiders," Tapine said.

Tapine revealed that he has fully recovered from his World Cup injury scare which occurred during New Zealand's quarter final loss to Fiji.

"There's no problems there, I've returned to full time training,"

"I was a bit worried because haven't really had a serious injury before so I didn't really know what was wrong with it at the time but luckily it wasn't serious."
