Junior Reps Round 5 Preview

The Canberra Raiders will be looking to bounce back after a 22-12 loss to the Sydney Roosters in Round 4 of the S.G. Ball Cup.

The Raiders face the West Coast Pirates in Round 5 who are yet to record a win this season and are anchored to the bottom of the ladder.

Canberra Raiders SG Ball Coach Dean Souter says this week is a crunch match for his side as they look to bounce back into the top 8.

“Every week’s an important week, there’s only nine weeks in the competition,” Souter said. “If we don’t win this weekend, we become reliant on certain results to happen for us and that’s not a position you want to find yourself in.”

To catch all the action head down to Raiders HQ, 2 Eade St Bruce this Saturday for an 11am kick off.

The Raiders Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale teams have a bye in round five.
