Junior Rep Round 9 Wrap

The Raiders Tarsha Gale side claimed their first win of the season which saw all three Junior Rep sides secure victories over the weekend.

S.G. Ball Cup

Canberra Raiders 28 (Tries: J Subloo 3, I Tagaloamatua, B Nanesa; Goals: J Little 4) d North Sydney Bears 20.

The Raiders S.G. Ball side fell behind early on as the North Sydney Bears ran in two early tries. Immanuel Tagaloamatua replied in the shortly after the Bears second while two minutes later in the 8th minute Jarrett Subloo scored his first try before completing his hat-trick in the 53rd minute. Benjamin Nanesa rounded out the victory in the 62nd minute with a try.

Harold Matthews

Canberra Raiders 58 (Tries: J Williams 4, Clay Webb 3, Livai Kaloutolu 2, J Buchan; Goals: J Tupou 6, J Williams, H Alder, B Magnone) d North Sydney Bears 6.

The Harold Matthews side cruised to a 58-6 victory over the Bears at North Sydney Oval with Jack Williams running in four tries. The win is the green machine’s second of the season which sees them sit 11th on the ladder.

Tarsha Gale Cup

Canberra Raiders 40 (Tries: E Hoffman 3, T McGrath-West 2, T Millard, H Whatman, L Kelly; Goals: T Millard 2, L Kelly 2) d Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 26.

The Tarsha Gale Cup girls side recorded their first win of the season against Canterbury-Bankstown. Centre Emily Hoffman crossed over three times for the Raiders while Tara McGrath-West bagged a double.

The Canberra Raiders S.G. Ball side progress to the first week of the NRL finals when they take on the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Sunday the 15th April. Kick-off is at 1:10pm.
