Match of the Round
Queanbeyan Blues vs Queanbeyan Kangaroos- 3pm, Saturday 12 May- Seiffert Oval / Live Stream
There is always plenty of feeling in a Queanbeyan derby and this weekend will be no different in the first meeting between the rivals since the Blues beat the Kangaroos 13-6 in last year's grand final.
Speaking ahead of the match Queanbeyan Kangaroos lock Troy Whiley said both sides had changed personnel but the memory from last year was still fresh.
"You don't forget losing a grand final," Whiley said. "At the end of the day we have to focus on this match and build for the finals."
New Queanbeyan Blues forward Talia'uli Takitaki said he was looking forward to the challenge against the Kangaroos.
"They're one of the toughest teams in the competition," Takitaki said. "I know that game is going to be hard so we'll try and do what we do best."
Both teams sit just a win behind top spot with each side suffering one loss so far. With the rivals separated only by points difference, this should be a great clash as they fight not only for the competition points but also bragging rights over their neighbour until these sides meet again in Round 15.

The Rams and the Bulls both enter this week fighting for their second win of the season.

The Sharks meanwhile are currently in last place as they still search for the first win of the season.
While most sides are heavily affected by the Country Championships both sides are unaffected by the competition and will be looking to put on a good display at O'Connor.
Goulburn Workers Bulldogs vs West Belconnen Warriors- 2pm, Sunday 12 May- Workers Arena
Through the first five rounds of the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup, the West Belconnen Warriors are the only side to remain undefeated.
Despite claiming a 26-18 win against Tuggeranong last weekend, the Warriors will be seeking to improve on their performance against Goulburn.
The Bulldogs haven't won since Round 2 but still sit in fifth place after enjoying the bye last weekend.
Both sides have three players involved in the Country Championships, which adds an element of uncertainty to the contest but the Warriors will still be looking to keep their unbeaten run going.
