NRL.com takes players statistics to a new level

NRL.com has launched a massive upgrade to its player statistics with enhanced in-game features plus significantly upgraded player profiles with historical data on every player in the Telstra Premiership.

The improvements will be music to the ears of NRL fans from the hard-core supporters who love to delve into the analytics of the game to casual observers and newcomers to the world's best rugby league website.

Footy fans will be ecstatic with the new-look "player stats" option in the match centre, which provides up-to-the-minute in-game stats on every player, including their all-important fantasy points.

Fans who want to know exactly how their team performed can get all the in-depth details in the "team stats" section, a big part of the new and improved match centre.

Both the player stats and team stats sections can be located via the NRL.com homepage or the draw section.

If you've ever wondered how your favourite players have performed this season, last season or in their rookie seasons, you'll be over the moon when you check out the extensive upgrade to the "players" index on NRL.com, with every single player's career stats listed.

If you want to know how many years Rabbitohs star Greg Inglis has played and how many tries he has scored, it's all there in the career stats section along with all his key numbers.

If you've debated with friends if two-time premiership-winner James Maloney has played at more clubs than fellow journeyman Michael Gordon, you'll quickly find your answer by clicking on the player and scrolling down to his career stats.

All those fantasy footy coaches will find the career stats section very handy for getting a proper rundown of any NRL star's complete history.

Of course, the match centre and player stats upgrades are all available via the NRL App, mobile and desktop.
