By the numbers: Raiders v Dragons

Here is this week's edition of by the numbers as the Raiders suffered a late victory against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

In possession the Dragons made a total of 54% while the Raiders had 46%.

The green machine had a better completion rate with 77% while the Red V could only make 72%.

The Dragons had a total of 166 runs in which they made 1707 metres while the Raiders made 1350 metres from 148 runs.

The green machine also managed to make one more offload as they conjured up 11 compared to St George's 10.

The Raiders also trumped the Dragons in line-breaks with five compared to four.

Throughout the afternoon the Raiders were busy in defence and made 343 tackles compared to the Dragons 295.

Ricky Stuart's made only 36 missed tackles while the home team made 30.

Unfortunately for the green machine they conceded the most amount of penalties during the game with 13 while the Dragons only conceded 10.

The men in green did however make the least amount of errors with nine compared to the Red V's 11.

Josh Papalii was outstanding for the Raiders once again as he made 179 running metres while making 29 tackles.

Jordan Rapana also made impressive running metres with 166 in total.
Joe Tapine made the most amount of tackles for the Raiders with 40 while Luke Bateman was next on 36.
