Here is this week's edition of by the numbers as the Raiders lost a tight contest against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium 26-22.

It was a night to forget for Ricky Stuart's men as they led 16-0 at the half time break.

The Raiders had most of the possession in the first half however the tables were reversed in the second half and the Broncos ended up with 56% compared to the Raiders 44%.

The home side had a better completion rate at 32/36 (89%) compared to the visitor's 26/34 (76%).

The Queensland based side completed 1532 running metres from a total of 167 runs while the men from the ACT made 1462 metres from 153 runs.

Both sides were evenly split in offloads with six each while Wayne Bennett's side completed more line-breaks with four compared to two.

The green machine was the busier of the two sides in defence as they completed 323 tackles compared to the Bronco's 311.

In total, the Raiders made 34 missed tackles while the Broncos made 31.

Both sides conceded eight penalties throughout the 80 minutes while Canberra made 11 errors compared to Brisbane's seven.

Individual statistics

Josh Hodgson led the way for the green machine with 43 tackles made in an 80 minute performance from the England international. Dunamis Lui was next with 38 followed by Josh Papalii with 37 tackles.

Michael Oldfield was the main metre-eater for the Raiders with 159 running metres followed by Nick Cotric next on 146. Oldfield was strong with the ball in hand as he registered 61 running metres (post contact).
