The Queanbeyan Kangaroos jumped into first place, while the West Belconnen Warriors all but booked their place in the finals with a big win over the Belconnen United Sharks.

The Queanbeyan Kangaroos are on top of the ladder after a comprehensive 44-6 win over the Tuggeranong Bushrangers in the top of the table clash at Seears Workwear Oval.
After a tense opening where both sides battled for field position, the Kangaroos opened the scoring in the 20th minute as Sekope Meke planted the ball in the corner.
The game continued to remain in the balance but two tries before the break swung the match firmly in the favour of the home side. Tyrone Henderson busted through a couple of tackles to score in the corner before Bryan Cronan scored on the buzzer on the back of some second phase play.
The second half couldn't have started any better for the Kangaroos as Jayden Baxter barged over the line before three tries in 11 minutes killed off any chance of a Tuggeranong comeback.
Cronan scored his second of the afternoon before Nick Grant received a wonderful inside pass from Brent Crisp to cross the stripe.
Grant went from scorer to provider shortly afterwards as he burst through Tuggeranong's defence and drawing the last defender before passing to Derek Hay who scored.
Tuggeranong skipper Josh Mitchell scored in the 66th minute to put the Bushrangers on the board but Nukurua Ngere scored the final try of the afternoon on the back of a Tuggeranong error.
The win means that the Kangaroos can seal the minor premiership and a home semi-final with victory against the West Belconnen Warriors next weekend.
Tuggeranong, on the other hand, have succumbed to their second consecutive loss and will be hoping to rediscover their try scoring form before finals.

The West Belconnen Warriors all but sealed their place in the finals of the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup with a convincing win over their Belconnen rivals.
Ryan McQueen scored a hattrick in his return to fullback, while Ryley Thomas also grabbed a double.
The Warriors raced to a 22-6 lead at halftime and didn't look back as they eased to their second win in their last five matches.
Ryley Thomas first try midway through the second half came courtesy of an exciting passage of play which started with a damaging run from Tevita Aroha-Tuinauvai before the ball moved to the right via McQueen and Dustin Litster.
The win sees the Warriors sit two points above the Yass Magpies with a much healthier for and against as teams prepare for the final round of the regular season.

The Yass Magpies did all that they could to keep their finals hopes alive with a victory over the Bulls.

Warner barged over for his first before combining with fellow co-captain Jacob Toppin for his second only minutes later.
Michael Sollis reduced the deficit before Vaitkani opened his account before the break.
The center scored an intercept try early in the second half before the Magpies took total control when Warner sealed his hattrick after grounding a Toppin grubber.
The Gungahlin Bulls scored twice in the second half but it wasn't enough as the Magpies ran out as winners.
However, West Belconnen's win means the Magpies would require a 100 point turn around in for and against if they are to finish inside the top four.

The Woden Valley Rams extended their unbeaten streak to ten games as they defeated the Goulburn Workers Bulldogs at Workers Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Daine Spencer ensured the Rams were the first side on the board when he showed good footwork and strength to power over but Haydon Hodge caught Woden napping to level the scores.
Quick tries to Brad Martin and Michael Geiger ensured that the Rams had a 14-4 lead at the break.
Goulburn reduced the deficit when Jake Whittaker managed to get a foot to a poor pass and regather the ball to score.
Woden then put their foot on the accelerator as Michael Gilmour and Lincoln Withers both scored before Whittaker grabbed his second.
Tyson Hodge and Lincoln Withers finished off the scoring as the Rams secured the result and moved within a point from securing a top two berth
