The Canberra Raiders ended their 2018 season on Friday night when they travelled over to New Zealand to face the Warriors in Auckland.

The green machine were able to come up with slightly more possession than their opponents with 52% compared to 48%.

In terms of completions the home side completed 26/34 of their sets (74%) while Canberra finished with 23/32 (72%).

The Warriors clocked up more running metres with the ball in hand and accumulated 1555 metres from 148 runs. The Raiders managed 1194 metres from 122 runs.

Stephen Kearney's side finished the match with seven offloads while Stuart's troops completed just the one. The Warriors also made a total of three line-breaks compared to the Raiders two.

Both sides were busy in defence with the home side making 312 tackles and only missing 10. The men from the nation's capital completed 303 tackles and made a total of 29 missed tackles.

In the penalty and error count the Warriors conceded six penalties and made nine errors. The Raiders conceded 10 penalties and made nine errors.

Individual Statistics

In the tackle count Josh Papalii once again put in a massive effort making 46 tackles. Josh Hodgson was next best with 43 followed by Sia Soliola on 32.

Hodgson also managed to grab a line-break assist as well as a try assist.

Josh Papalii was the main metre eater for the Raiders as he finished up with 138 while Jordan Rapana made a total of 130.

The Samoan international also recorded one line-break and three tackle breaks.
