In just his second NRL season, Nick Cotric continued to torment opposition defences.

The local junior scored 12 tries which led to a call up in Brad Fittler's NSW State of Origin side for game one.

Although Cotric did not see game time during the series, the experience was another learning curve for the highly talented outside back.

The former Valley Dragons junior finished equal second overall in the NRL for line-breaks as he finished up on 20 (tied with Blake Ferguson). Only Valentine Holmes contributed more with 26.

Cotric showed his versatility in the backline as he played most of the season on the wing whilst also having spells in the centres or at fullback.

The 19 year old is set for a massive 2019 season as he looks to build on another successful year.
