Raiders to take six home games to England

The Canberra Raiders have announced plans to take six home games to the North of England in 2020.

With four English players in the starting side on Friday night against the Knights, a phone conference with English official’s post-match sealed the deal, with the Raiders to head to Bradford, Wigan and Hull in 2020 for a six week stretch.

The six weeks stretch of English home matches will take place over the Canberra Winter, so the Raiders will be in England from the start of June until the end July, with plans to top and tail the English matches with away trips to North Queensland and the Gold Coast, making it eight weeks in total.

Raiders members will have the first chance to buy the newly created “Barmy Army” Membership which gives you entry into all six matches, a voucher for cod and chips or pie floater and a thermos of Barry’s Tea.
