It was a tough weekend for the Raiders Junior Representative sides.

S.G. Ball Cup

Illawarra Steelers 28 (Tries: T Amone 2, A Schoupp, J Sullivan, O Parrish; Goals: J Sullivan 4) d Canberra Raiders 22 (Tries: M Kaho 2, Jack Williams, J Tupou; Goals: B Robertson 3)

A double to Manase Kaho wasn’t enough for the Raiders as they went down to the Illawarra Steelers on Saturday.

Jack Williams and Junior Tupou also chipped in with tries for the Raiders but the loss saw the Green Machine drop out of the top four and into fifth place.

Tarsha Gale Cup

Illawarra Steelers 58 (Tries: M Singleton, E Andrews, M Schutts, N Misa, T Roberts, R Scott 2, E Amone, O Vale, M Buchanan; Goals: O Vale 9) d Canberra Raiders 4 (Tries: Z Waihape)

The Illawarra Steelers finished on the top of the table as they claimed a big win against the Canberra Raiders.

Zali Waihape scored the sole try for the Canberra Raiders as they finished the regular season in eighth place ahead of the upcoming finals series.

Illawarra Steelers 30 (Tries: E Pierce 3, B Lavender 2, J Duggan, J Lee; Goals: T Barlow) d Canberra Raiders 16 (Tries: H Alesi, A Kolinisau, M Stewart; Goals: H Alesi, A Malibe)

The Canberra Raiders finished their Harold Matthews Cup season on Saturday as they suffered a loss to the fifth placed Steelers.

Edward Pierce scored a hattrick for the visitors while Benjamin Lavender also chimed in with a double.

Henry Alesi continued his try scoring form with another try, while Matthew Stewart and Ashton Kolinisau also chipped in.

The Raiders finished the regular season in 11th place.

Jersey Flegg Cup - Round 4

Sydney Roosters 22 (Tries: E Jackson, J Kambos, B Bentley-Hape, M Baker; Goals: E O’Neill 3) d Canberra Raiders 20 (Tries: G Afemui, J Stuart, H Smith-Shields, C Rorke; Goals: J Subloo 2)

The Canberra Raiders suffered their first loss of the season as they went down by the narrowest of margins to the Sydney Roosters at Seiffert Oval.

Harly Smith-Shields and Charlie Rorke continued their try scoring form during the match while Gideon Afemui and Jackson Stuart also crossed over for tries.

However, the Roosters managed to claim a narrow win as the Raiders ended the round sitting in eighth place.
