Yass Magpies v Goulburn Workers Bulldogs
Saturday July 27, 3:30pm, Walker Park

The Yass Magpies will hope to celebrate their 100th season in style as they take on the second placed Goulburn Workers Bulldogs.

The Magpies head into the bout aiming to bounce back after last weekend’s 34-6 loss to the Bulls, and will hope to mark the significant occasion with a memorable win.

The Bulldogs will look to make it four wins in a row after dispatching the Rams last weekend 49-6.

A hat-trick to Pat Cooke and a Dillon Rota double for the Bulldogs allowed them to keep the pressure on league leaders the Bushrangers towards the back end of the season.

Queanbeyan Kangaroos v Queanbeyan Blues
Saturday July 27, 3:00pm, Seears Workwear Oval

It’ll be a very exciting clash in the Queanbeyan derby this weekend, as the Kangaroos host the Blues.

Earlier in the season, the two Queanbeyan teams couldn’t be split after 80 minutes with the Round 2 match ending in a 28-28 draw.

The Kangaroos will be wanting to continue with their winning ways after defeating the Warriors last weekend 32-26. A win this weekend will see them climb above their city rivals on the ladder.

The Blues on the other hand will be hoping their bye last weekend can spark some much needed energy into the team.

The Blues currently sit in third place on the ladder, just three points off first place and will be eyeing off the Bushrangers and place in the top two.

Woden Valley Rams v Belconnen United Sharks
Sunday July 28, 3:00pm, Phillip District

The Woden Valley Rams will be looking to keep in touch with the top four when they come up against the Belconnen United Sharks.

The Rams suffered a huge 43-point loss to the Bulldogs last weekend, making it their third loss in a row.

Sitting just three points outside of finals, the Rams will be looking for some sort of spark coming into the last couple of rounds to help reignite their title defence.

The Sharks are all but out of finals hopes after last weekend’s 44-18 loss to league leaders the Bushrangers.

The Sharks have improved throughout the season and will be looking to avenge their 26-10 loss against the Rams earlier in the year.

West Belconnen Warriors v Gungahlin Bulls
Saturday July 27, 3:00pm, Raiders Belconnen

The West Belconnen Warriors will be hoping to keep their slim finals hopes alive with a win as they face the eighth-placed Gungahlin Bulls.

The Warriors suffered a tight six-point loss to the Kangaroos last weekend, meaning they now sit five points outside the top four, meaning a win is vital in this weekend’s clash.

The Bulls will walk into Round 15 with their heads held high after defeating bottom of the ladder the Magpies 34-6.
