UPDATED: MRC: Elliott Whitehead found not guilty

Elliott Whitehead has been found not guilty at tonight's judiciary hearing.

Whitehead had been charged with a Grade 1 Contrary Conduct charge and faced a $1,150 fine with an early plea.

The charge was for making contact with his leg/foot to the shoulder of Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary.

Whitehead now escapes any sanction.

He will be free to play the Warriors on Friday night.
