Saturday August 3, 3:00pm, Greenway

The top of the table Tuggeranong Bushrangers host the bottom of the ladder Yass Magpies in Greenway on Saturday.

Tuggeranong defeated the Magpies 28 – 16 when they faced each other in round seven.

Gungahlin Bulls v Queanbeyan Kangaroos
Saturday August 3, 3:00pm, Gungahlin Enclosed Oval

Gungahlin Enclosed Oval will host the eighth placed Gungahlin Bulls and the fourth placed Queanbeyan Kangaroos this Saturday.

The Kangaroos will be looking to cement their spot in the top four as the finals draw closer, a win this weekend would see them remain three points clear of fifth place with only two rounds remaining.

The Kangaroos convincingly defeated the Bulls the last time they met in round seven in a stellar 52 – 10 performance.

The Gungahlin Bulls are unable to play finals this season, but with only three wins this year they will be looking to finish on a high.

Queanbeyan Blues v Goulburn Workers Bulldogs
Saturday August 3, 3:00pm, Seiffert Oval

The third placed Queanbeyan Blues will host the second on the ladder Goulburn Workers Bulldogs at Seiffert Oval on Saturday.

The top four clash will be an epic rendezvous between two sides in top form, and could potentially decide the destination of the club championship.

In their round seven match up, it was the Bulldogs who claimed the win 36 – 24, but with virtually nothing between the two sides, this Saturday’s match could be a tight finish.

The Blues are coming into this round full of confidence after their 28 – 16 win over the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.

The Goulburn boys thrashed the Yass Magpies last Saturday 62 – 10 and will also be full of confidence from that performance, looking to continue their four-game winning streak.
