The Queanbeyan Blues have secured the Minor Premiership and a home semi final after defeating the Tuggeranong Bushrangers 22-16 at Greenway.
The Queanbeyan Blues took the lead in the ninth minute when second-rower Josh Stuckey was sent through a gap by hooker Zac Patch.
The Blues continued to assert their authority on the match and doubled their lead when Patch sent Campese through untouched.
From that moment on, Tuggeranong had the majority of the ball and field position and finally found their way over the line when Jacob McGrath forced his way over five minutes before the break.
After holding a 12-6 lead at the break, the Blues extended the lead when Jack Williams, playing on the wing for the Queanbeyan side, crossed for a try out wide.
Tuggeranong pushed for a try but a Nathan Smith offload went astray and was gathered by Blues winger George Stewart who ran 60 meters to score.
The Bushrangers kept pushing for the win and McGrath grabbed his second of the afternoon before Massen scored out wide to set up a grandstand finish.
With only six points separating the sides and the fulltime whistle looming, the Bushrangers pushed hard for a winner but ultimately the Blues held on for the win.
The result means that the two sides will face each other next week in the major semi final at Seiffert Oval.
