Having collected all the votes from the McIntyre Medal tally, here is the 2019 Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.

To separate players on the same number of votes, the player in the side that finished highest on the ladder is included. If the two players are from the same team, the player who scored the most tries will be selected.

Players who were guilty of a charge throughout the course of the season are not eligible for this team.

Prop: Aidan Woods (8) & Jayden Baxter (7)

He missed out on last year’s Team of the Year by one vote but Aidan Woods makes this season’s edition after an outstanding year in which he claimed his first ever Premiership.

The prop scored four tries across the season including an important try in the Semi Final against Tuggeranong.

Jayden Baxter is named in the Team of the Year for the first time after an impressive season in which he helped lead the Kangaroos pack. Remarkably, Baxter didn’t have any votes to his name heading into Round 15 but tallied seven points by the end of Round 17.

Notable Mention: Josh Hitchins (4) & Tyson Greenwood (4)
