2019 was certainly a year to remember for local junior Seb Kris.

Having come through the junior pathways at the Raiders, Kris made his NRL debut in Round 10 against South Sydney from the interchange bench.

Two rounds later, Kris was in the starting side against the Bulldogs and in his preferred position of centre, he scored the first try of his NRL career. He also showed his capabilities in defence as he made 30 tackles to help the Raiders claim a narrow win.

With Cotric and Leilua both injured, Kris received a callup once again in Round 15 against the Parramatta Eels in Darwin. The Valley Dragons junior made it two tries in two starts as he leapt highest to catch a cross-field Aidan Sezer kick before following it with a Torres Strait Islander celebration.

As players returned from injury, the 20 year old had to wait until the final round of the regular season to get another taste of NRL football.

Kris continued his impressive try scoring record as he showed excellent anticipation to score after some brilliant work from Elliott Whitehead.
