Dear Club Members, Sponsors & Hospitality Partners,

As communicated last Friday by the Federal Government, from Monday (tomorrow), mass gatherings of more than 500 people have been cancelled. Following this advice, our upcoming Round Two fixture will be played behind closed doors.

At time of writing this note, I can confirm our NRL team will be playing the NZ Warriors away in Round Two on the Gold Coast at 3pm next Saturday 21 March 2020. However, be mindful that the current COVID-19 crisis is highly fluid with changes occurring hour-by-hour.

The NRL this morning outlined the complex situation that now faces our game, and you can view this morning’s press conference here.

As a game, we now need time to assess this situation before providing any further communications, so we appreciate your patience while we work through this unprecedented situation.

Now, as much as ever, we value your constant support and understanding. Rugby League is known for its resilience and we know we will work through this together.

We would ask that you hold tight and await further information, as we won’t be able to provide any answers over the phone or email at this point.

We will be in touch again via email once we have further information to share with you.

Kind regards
Don Furner
