Injury Update: Croker surgery, Simonsson returns

A number of Raiders players are starting to return to full-training as we head into the Christmas break for pre-season training.

Curtis Scott has returned to full squad training after recovering from a leg injury, as has Bailey Simonsson who has fully recovered from shoulder surgery. 

Corey Horsburgh has commenced running as he recovers from a Lisfranc injury and is expected to be in full training during the second half of pre-season. 

Emre Guler has also resumed some running as he recovers from an ankle injury and he's expected to be in full-training post-Christmas. 

Josh Hodgson is still on track with his return from surgery on his knee and will be assessed post-Christmas. 

Jarrod Croker is recovering from off-season shoulder surgery and will commence limited training next week. At this stage, if his recovery progresses he will be available between Rounds 3-4 in 2021.

NAME: Corey Horsburgh

INJURY: Foot (Lisfranc)

NOTE: Horsburgh has resumed training and will join full squad training in the new year

 

NAME: Josh Hodgson

INJURY: Knee

EXPECTED RETURN: To be determined

NOTE: Hodgson continues to recover from knee surgery, but is making good progress. 

 

NAME: Jarrod Croker

INJURY: Shoulder

EXPECTED RETURN: Round 3-4

NOTE: Croker has had off-season shoulder surgery and will begin light training next week.
