The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup side will face the Mounties at GIO Stadium this Saturday at 12:40pm.

The Raiders will play their second game of the season after a round one victory over the Western Suburbs Magpies and their round two match-up against the Eels postponed due to wet weather last weekend.

The Raiders boast a strong line-up with experienced forward Corey Horsburgh returning from suspension alongside fellow front-rower Emre Guler.

The Raiders announce an unchanged back-line after their astonishing performance in round one scoring 32 points over the Magpies.

Raiders v Magpies NSW Cup Round 1 Highlights

Raiders centre Harley Smith-Shields will look to build on a dominating round one performance, running for over 220 metres and scoring a try.

The Mounties, however, will look to bounce back after their loss to the Penrith Panthers 28-8 on Saturday afternoon.

Key Match Ups

Tom Starling v Bradley Deitz

Two players with NRL experience, Starling and Deitz will be critical to their side's success on Saturday afternoon. Starling was instrumental in the Raider's win over Western Suburbs in round one and he'll be looking to put in another strong showing on Saturday to further strengthen his claims for a spot in the green machine's NRL side.

Darby Medlyn v Chris Smith

Medlyn continues to put in solid performances for the Raiders week after week. Medlyn faces a tough challenge when he faces up against Mounties lock Chris Smith. Smith, who has Indigenous All-Stars experience will aim to impress Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett and stake a claim to force his way back into NRL calculations.
