Canberra Region Rugby League are happy to announce that BarTV are back this season.

BarTV were unable to film CRRL games last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but are returning this year, giving supporters the opportunity to watch local league games remotely.

CRRL General Manager Mark Vergano welcomed the return of BarTV to covering local matches.

“BarTV provides an important service in keeping the rugby league community connected and engaged,” Vergano said.

“They also provide a training tool for our referees and coaches, and also assists the league in ensuring high standards are met on the field.

“The technology continues to improve and I encourage all CRRL supporters to utilise the broadcasts to see family and friends play the game they love.”

This season will work a bit differently to previous years, with BarTV’s introduction of a subscription service.

Each week, a Match of the Round will be available live and free on the CRRL Facebook page and website, as well as the BarTV Sports website.

All other first grade games will be available via the BarTV Sports subscription model, while all other grade matches (U19s, Katrina Fanning Shield, Ladies League Tag and Reserve Grade) will be live-streamed behind the BarTV Sports subscription wall too.

Highlights packages from all games will be available, while download links of all matches will still be sent through to club coaches.
