Raiders Membership record provides shining light in Covid affected season.

The Canberra Raiders are proud to announce the achievement of a new Club Membership Record - 23,112 subscriptions - with many ‘Member Appreciation’ initiatives being rolled out over the course of the upcoming week leading into the Round 23 fixture v Manly.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said the club felt grateful and proud to have set a new milestone for club membership in 2021, with the higher membership numbers contributing also to attracting an average home game crowd of more than 14,500 at GIO Stadium Canberra matches prior to Covid lockdown restrictions being imposed.

“To set a membership record during the on-going pandemic is huge, on behalf of all our players and staff thank you,” Furner said. “I have long said that we have the most durable and supportive members in the NRL, and this new benchmark endorses this fact.

CEO of Zango, Darryn McRae, who are the Membership Program Sponsor of the Canberra Raiders was equally as delighted to see a record number of people proudly exposing his company’s brand on their membership caps,” For a local brand such as Zango, partnering with the Raiders and specifically with their loyal member base certainly aligned with our community values. We are proud to be part of the Raider membership family"

In further positive news for both the Club and Members, Zango have confirmed that they are staying on as Membership Program Sponsor for season 2022 and are looking forward to seeing members and fans back out at live matches.

Season 2022 Raiders Memberships will go on sale before Christmas.
