Six of the Raiders 11 home matches in Canberra have been scheduled in afternoon timeslots, with big afternoon blockbusters scheduled against the Eels, Roosters, Knights, Warriors, Dragons and Sea Eagles.

The Raiders will also face the Sharks, Titans, Cowboys, Bulldogs and reigning Premiers Penrith in Canberra in 2022.

The Raiders 12th home match has been scheduled for round five in Wagga Wagga, where the Raiders will take on last year's grand finalists the Melbourne Storm at McDonald’s Park.

On top of the favourable draw for Raiders fans the Green Machine will feature on free-to-air television eight times during the course of the season, with five of those matches away from home, giving fans more chances to see the team play.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said the club looked forward to welcoming fans back home in 2022, after two seasons of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There’s no doubt the last two years have been a huge challenge for everyone so we’re very grateful to have the opportunity to reward our loyal members with a very family friendly draw in 2022,” Furner said. “The afternoon matches during the season give our fans the opportunity to bring the whole family to games and we can’t wait to welcome everyone home with a viking clap in round one.”
