NSWRL Roadmap to Getting Back on the Field

New South Wales Rugby League has further updated their roadmap moving forward.

All NSW-based clubs can resume training, but players, staff and spectators must be fully vaccinated.

The NSW Government updated the Public Health Order on Monday 8th November that restricts the movements of unvaccinated persons aged 16 years and over until Wednesday 15th December (previously 1st December).

This means that all unvaccinated players, staff and officials aged 16 years and over cannot participate in any activities until the 15th December - this includes training.

Before clubs and academies can return to training, you must do the following (please note that many clubs will just need to update their 2021 COVID safety plan):

  • Lodge a COVID-Safe plan with Services NSW for each venue that you are
using for training and playing – Click here for link
  • Make sure you have a copy of the COVID-safe plan on hand at the venue
at all times and are following it
  • Send a copy of your plan to your local government if you are using a
    leased council venue
  • Set up a Services NSW QR Code linked to the individual venue and have
available at entry point for check-in – Click here for link

You can view the NSWRL Roadmap here.
