The Canberra Raiders are proud to support this weekend's Hartley Cycle Challenge, which is raising money to support people with disability.
The Hartley organization supports people with disability to live their best life, providing services such as supported independent living, transportation, hydrotherapy and community support.
The Cycle Challenge is one of the organization’s major annual fundraising events, with 14 teams of 12 cyclists riding from Cooma to Charlotte’s Pass and back, a journey of approx. 315 km.
The Raiders are a sleeve sponsor of one of these teams, the Prime 7 Allstars. Each rider will have the Canberra Raiders logo on their sleeves for the ride.
Hartley is very excited to have the Raiders on board as a supporter for this year’s event.
“The Raiders are such a huge part of the Canberra Community and we are very grateful for their support” said Hartley’s Senior Manager of Finance and Communications, Corey Ryan.
“It is so great when local organisations support each other. The Raiders have such a great reputation for doing great things to help amazing causes, this is no exception.
"We are calling on all fans of The Milk to help a great Canberra Not for Profit raise much needed funds to help people living with a disability live their best life.”
The ride will start this Friday 25th February and will go until Sunday 27th February.
This year’s challenge is part of the Hartley’s One Million Harts fundraiser campaign to raise one million dollars for the redevelopment of Hartley Court.
